Fiorentina vs. Inter Milan Odds, Predictions & Betting Tips

Inter Milan go in search of what could potentially be their third cup trophy this season as they take on Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia final. Our man Anthony Eadson is on hand with two bets that he likes the look of for the game that will take place in Rome’s Olympic Stadium.

Fiorentina have seen off Torino, Cremonese and Sampdoria on their way to this final, although they do remain down in 11th in the Serie A table. Most betting sites have the Tuscan side priced up at 29/10 win the game against Inter in 90 minute, while 8/5 is on offer for Vincenzo Italiano’s side to lift the trophy

Both of these two teams will contest European finals in the coming weeks, but Inter will be confident of claiming their another piece of silverware and come into this clash off the back of eight wins in their last nine. For those looking to side with the Nerazzurri, even money is available on Inzaghi’s side to win the game inside normal time, with 1/2 on show for them to lift the trophy.

Fiorentina vs Inter Milan Tips

Inter To Win (90 mins)

After knocking out rivals AC Milan in the Champions League semi-finals, Inter are becoming one hell of a cup team under Simeone Inzaghi and I’ll be backing them to win the game in 90 minutes on Wednesday at even money.

Inzaghi lifted this trophy 12 months ago with Inter and has also tasted glory in the Supercoppa Italiana in both of the last two seasons. The most recent of those came in January when they once again saw off Milan. Their league form has been patchy to say the least this campaign racking up 12 defeats, but I feel they will be stronger next term and have shown plenty of reasons to believe this in recent weeks.

Prior to Sunday’s defeat by Napoli, Inter had won eight on the bounce in all competitions and have the quality to get the better of a Fiorentina side who have only won two of their last eight in Serie A.

Nicola Barella & Nikola Milenkovic to commit 2+ fouls

I’ve also had a little dabble on two players both to commit two or more fouls, with the first of those being Nicola Barella.

The Inter Milan midfielder has racked up ten yellow cards across all competitions this season after nine in the previous campaign. Barella gave away two fouls in each of the Champions League semi-finals against Milan and I’d have him a little shorter than the 2/1 that is available for a repeat here.

I’ll be doubling up Barella with Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic to give away two fouls. This selection has landed in five of his last seven with foul totals of: 2,3,2,0,1,4,4. Another reason behind this one is that Milkenkovic will be up against Lautaro Martinez. The Argentine is Inter’s most fouled player this season and with Milenkovic racking up four in last Thursday’s Conference League second leg, we can see that he’s not frightened to rack them up when a big prize is on offer.

Combining both Nicola Barella and Nikola Milenkovic to be carded pays 5/1 with either Paddy Power or Betfair.
