Inter will look for their second straight Coppa Italia title as they take on Fiorentina in the Italian Cup competition's showpiece match in Rome.

As defending champions, Inter will be hoping to successfully defend their Coppa Italia crown for the third time since the turn of the millennium.

However, the Milan club will also know that their fight across two other competitions are not yet handled. They remain in the battle for a top four spot in Serie A play, and they are slated to meet Manchester City in a heavyweight Champions League final in a few weeks.

Fiorentina are also set for a European final, paired with West Ham in the Europa Conference League title game in early June.

Fiorentina vs Inter projected lineups & team news

Fiorentina are at mostly full strength, missing just backup goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu who tore his Achilles in late March. That injury has had little effect on the Fiorentina lineup, however, as Sirigu had already lost his place to 33-year-old Pietro Terracciano.

Head coach Vincenzo Italiano rested a number of starters in the draw with Torino over the weekend, including Terracciano as well as forwards Arthur CabralLuka Jovic, and Jonathan Ikone, plus Alessandro BiancoDodoLuca Ranieri, and Nikola Milenkovic. All of those players should return for this game.

Fiorentina projected starting lineup (4-3-3): Terracciano (GK) — Dodo, Milenkovic, Igor, Biraghi — Bonaventura, Amrabat, Castrovilli — Gonzalez, Cabral, Ikone.

Simone Inzaghi has lost Henrikh Mkhitaryan, as his hamstring injury picked up in the second leg of the Champions League semifinals against AC Milan could cost him the remainder of the season. Marcelo Brozovic is the man to enter in midfield, taking over the rest of the way.

Inter are also sweating the fitness of Milan Skriniar, who has been missing since mid-February with a back problem. The stalwart defender is back in training, and is considered a possibility to return in this match, although Inzaghi may not want to disrupt those in form, and as such Skriniar could be worked back slowly with a role off the bench.

Inter projected starting lineup (3-5-2): Onana (GK) — Darmian, Acerbi, Bastoni — Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Dimarco — L. Martinez, Dzeko.
