The Florida Gators take on the Missouri Tigers in an SEC matchup on Saturday. Florida is coming off 3 straight losses to LSU, Arkansas and Georgia. The Gators are 5-5 on the year and need another win just to make a bowl game, but that is not enough for this fan base. Head coach Billy Napier is not necessarily on the hot seat but Gator fans are not happy with him. Missouri is on the other side of the spectrum, especially following a dominant win over Tennessee. The Tigers are 8-2 and second in the SEC East. The Tigers were only projected 6.5 wins to start the season and now they are looking at a major bowl game, especially if they can win their final 2 games and finish 10-2.

Florida has been a Jekyll and Hyde team this year. They have wins over Tennessee and Kentucky who are both above .500 this year and above them in the conference standings, but a home loss to Arkansas who is 1-6 in the conference. Some would say that the Arkansas game was a fluke, especially considering it is their only home loss. Missouri is extremely consistent. The Tigers have scored between 30 and 39 points in 9 of their 10 games this year. Their offense averages 455.1 yards per game and 32.8 points per game. Florida has similar numbers averaging 473.3 yards and 29.5 points per game. Florida on the road is 1-3 this year whereas Missouri is 5-1 at home. Florida is also 3-8 against the spread in their last 11 games and Mizzou is 7-1 in their last 8. Missouri at home with everything to play for is what I am backing. Florida has been terrible on the road this year, so I will take the Tigers to not only win but also cover.
