Former Georgia offensive tackle Broderick Jones is expected to be a first round selection in the 2023 NFL draft, and is considered one of the top-three tackles in the draft.

With Wednesday marking the final day that teams can host draft prospects at their facilities, Jones is spending time with the Kansas City Chiefs as the pre-draft visit window comes to a close.

The Chiefs hold the No. 31 pick in the NFL draft, which begins Thursday, April 27. Jones, however, is projected to somewhere between picks 10 and 20. Kansas City may need to trade up for Jones if it wants to draft the Lithonia, Georgia native.

He had a formal meeting with K.C.’s decision-makers at the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. Chiefs scouts were also in attendance for his showdown against the Oregon Ducks in Week 1 of the 2022 college football season.

Jones also visited the Chicago Bears on Tuesday, which hold the No. 9 pick.

Also making a visit on Wednesday is former Georgia outside linebacker Nolan Smith, who is visiting the Arizona Cardinals, per Ian Rapoport.

Right now, Jones’ odds are set at +500 to be the first offensive lineman selected in the draft, per BetMGM.

The 6-foot-5, 311 pound left tackle spent Georgia’s 2022 national championship season as a first-year starter and didn’t allow a single sack on quarterback Stetson Bennett in 15 games.

The former five-star prospect made the Coaches Freshman All-SEC team in 2021 when he stepped in for starter Jamaree Salyer, who missed four games due to injury.

Jones built on the momentum from the 2021 season and was a force protecting Bennett’s blind side in 2022.
