The away side came into this weekend second in the Premier League and face a trip across London to play a Fulham team who are just six points off relegation and have lost three games in a row.

EPL predictions for Fulham vs Arsenal

There are two big Premier League games this Sunday with the pick being an all-London affair with Fulham hosting Arsenal at Craven Cottage.

Both teams come into this on the back of a defeat but that’s where the similarities end. We’ve got Arsenal who are firmly in the title race as they chase Liverpool down. They came into this weekend in second place and will look to get back to winning ways here.

Arsenal’s form has been patchy. They’ve won just two of their last five and have been beaten twice, losing to Aston Villa and West Ham. Keep in mind they’ve only lost three times all season.

That’s quite different to Fulham, who have lost each of their last three games. It’s concerning fans given they’ve lost heavily, giving up eight goals to Bournemouth, Burnley, and Newcastle and not managing to find the back of the net themselves.

For Fulham vs. Arsenal, we’re going to back Over 2.5 goals at -130. It’s a good price for a game that has all the hallmarks of a high-scoring game. What's strange about Fulham’s recent form is they’ve given up eight goals in three games but scored none, but in the two games before, they won each encounter 5-0.

If you look back at Fulham’s season, they’ve gone Over 2.5 in 57.9% of games, with three of their last four games at home hitting the Over and seven of their last eight games in total seeing Over 2.5 goals, with a total of 34 goals across those eight matches.

Arsenal welcome Kai Havertz back to the team following suspension and the German has slowly become important to the team's play after a patchy start to the season. The front three of Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus, and Bukayo Saka is one of the better attacks in England and they have excellent movement to complement their great speed.

Arsenal have gone Over 2.5 in 52.6% of their league games this season, with the scoring slowing down in recent weeks but they have the attacking talent to score and some injuries at the back with Takehiro Tomiyasu out of this game.

When these two teams met at the Emirates earlier in the season, the game finished 2-2. I’m expecting another high total in this game with the Gunners primed to take advantage of this Fulham team.

On top of the Over 2.5, we're backing Arsenal to win. They may be the away side but after defeat to West Ham, they need to win to continue their push towards the summit of the Premier League.

Another defeat wouldn’t put them out of the title race but it would give Liverpool the advantage. This Fulham team has lost three games in a row and appears to be in freefall. It’s an easy get-right game for the Gunners and they should be able to get back into the mix here.

Finally, we’re going to back Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka to either score or assist. He’s been one of Arenal’s best performers this season and is certainly their best in attacking positions.

Across 18 games he’s tied for the most Premier League goals on the team along with Eddie Nketiah and leads the club in assists with six. He’s a difference-maker and has a great chance to add more numbers to his impressive stats against Fulham.

You can see from the SGP that I think Arsenal will win. We’re seeing a Fulham team who are going through a really difficult spell and looks like they might be in real trouble. That said, I can't recommend betting on them at -182.

My best bet for this game is for Over 2.5 goals so I won’t go into the total goals market much further but given Fulham’s recent performances and the quality in Arsenal’s attack, we should see 3+ goals.
