G2 Gallant Bloom Best Bets

Belmont's Fall meets at Aqueduct raceway is the last day of racing for week two. The Gallant Bloom Stakes is for fillies and mares three years old and up. Wesley Wards Kimari will be the leader.

Brad Cox's horse Lady Rocket finished sixth in the Grade 1 Ballerina Handicap. Lady's most recent victory came in G3 Chicago Stakes at Churchill Downs.

Remain Anonymous is looking for her first major stakes race win. Manuel Franco will ride her in the Gallant Bloom Best Bets. The mare has had a strong summer winning her last two outings.

Sterling Silver finished second in the Priorres Stakes. Trevor McCarthy trainee entered the race at 20-1 odds. I shied away from betting on Sterling Silver, but I think she has already proved that she can race against some good runners and win. Bouwerie Stake winner is one of my top picks for the Grade 2 Gallant Bloom.

Crestwood Stakes winner Cheetara finished seventh in the ungraded Seeking the Pearl Stake at Colonial Downs. Chetara has had some excellent workout times but has slowed down during her last workout heading into the Gallant Bloom.

Kimari is looking to keep her win streak alive. She won the Honorable Miss Handicap at Saratoga Racecourse. Kimari will be the favorite.

The G2 Gallant Bloom Stakes takes place at Aqueduct Raceway. The field is small, but the race should be good. WPS- Sterling Silver, PS- Kimari, S- Lady Rockets are the best bets for the G1 Gallants Bloom.
