Gardaí send file to DPP as 15 suspects arrested in League of Ireland match-fixing probe. Last May, garda's made 10 arrests as part of the high-profile probe into alleged match fixing in the domestic game. Since then, investigators made a further five arrests. The files will be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions. The investigation was launched in 2019 after FAI and Uefa submitted reports to gardai regarding possible matchfixings in two games involving Limerick FC in 2018. One of those arrested is a well-known League footballer, a manager and a player.
