Genius Sports to Stream Select NFL Games to U.S. Users on Sports Betting Sites
Genius Sports and the NFL have expanded their data partnership. Genius Sports will deliver live streaming of selected NFL games to American sportsbooks. Caesars Sportsbook will be the first to gain access to the new features. The deal marks a milestone in the evolution of the U.S. legal sports betting industry. In April 2021, the league appointed Genius as its exclusive global provider of real-time official play-by-play statistics and proprietary Next Gen Stats data. It is also interested in promoting betting on its product. Other major U.,S sportsbook operators may try to reach similar deals with the League in 2023.
