As a new FanDuel Sportsbook user in the state of Pennsylvania, you can get 10x your first bet with their current welcome offer. To take maximum advantage, bet $20 to get $200 in bonus bets. There is no promo code required.

With UFC 290 set to take place on Saturday, July 8th, now is a great time to sign up for FanDuel and benefit from this offer.

Additionally, if you want to learn more about betting on the UFC, we have a whole UFC betting guide, with explainers on how and where to bet on the fast-growing sport.

Fortunately, there isn’t much hassle involved in claiming this welcome offer from FanDuel. You should begin by creating your new FanDuel Sportsbook account, which normally takes less than two minutes. Then you should proceed to make your first deposit of $10 or more.

Finish up by placing your first real-money bet on the site. Once placed, FanDuel will give you10x the bet’s value up to $200.

One huge positive with this promo is that you don’t need to use your bonus bets in one lump sum, which is commonly the case. FanDuel allows you to break up your bonus bets into smaller wagers, but you must use all of your bonus bets in 14 days after issuance or they’ll expire.

There is no actual wagering requirement on your bonus bet funds because they are non-withdrawable. Although, any winnings therefrom are immediately withdrawable.

It’s important to know that you must be at least 21 years of age and physically located in PA at the time of your new FanDuel account’s activation.

The upcoming UFC 290 event is a great way to use the bonus bets that you receive from this FanDuel promo. Headlined by an undisputed featherweight world title fight between long-time champion Alexander Volkanovski and challenger Yair Rodriguez, UFC 290 is guaranteed action.

Before we get into the betting preview, let’s take a look at the UFC 290 main card:

  • Alexander Volkanovski [c] (-400) vs. Yair Rodriguez (+285) — featherweight
  • Brandon Moreno [c] (-205) vs. Alexandre Pantoja (+158) — flyweight
  • Robert Whittaker (-400) vs. Dricus Du Plessis (+285) — middleweight
  • Jalin Turner (-290) vs. Dan Hooker (+215) — lightweight
  • Bo Nickal (-3500) vs. Val Woodburn (+1060) — middleweight

**All odds are from FanDuel Sportsbook 7/6/23**

It isn’t all that common that you see a title bout with as heavy a betting favorite as Volkanovski is over Rodriguez. However, the champ’s dominance at the top has earned him that nod. His next challenger is one of the most creative strikers in the UFC, and a winner of three of his last four.

Rodriguez has earned performance bonus checks in over half of his octagon appearances, but we believe Volkanovski will work his way to a decision victory, retaining the title.

The co-main event features a flyweight world title fight between champion Brandon Moreno and first-time challenger Alexandre Pantoja. Since his first title bout back in December 2020, Moreno has fought Deiveson Figueiredo four times. The only time he competed against someone else, he TKO’d Kai Kara-France in swift fashion. We like Moreno to score a finish.

As for the other three bouts on the UFC 290 main card, we are going with the favorites to earn a trio of victories.

The UFC 290 card is packed with heavy betting favorites from top to bottom. In all reality, the only underdog bet that we could even remotely advise you to take a chance on is Robbie Lawler (+210) against Nike Price (-280) on the prelims.

Our favorite bet of the night is actually Brandon Moreno to beat Alexandre Pantoja via submission, which is currently at a whopping +900 to occur.
