Artorius is the favourite for the Golden Slipper 2021. He won the Blue Diamond at Caulfield. The stable thought he'd be best suited over 1400m in the Sires’.

Godolphin colt is on the back-up after finishing fifth in the Pago Pagos. He got home in 22.39 for the final 400m.

5. Anami was caught in the Blue Diamond from barrier 13 and finished third. He then tackled the G2 Todman and knocked off Profiteer. His final 400m was a blistering 21.62, fastest of the race by 0.25. All six starts have been on a good track.

JMac will ride Home Affairs in the Golden Slipper. Home affairs was partnered against Stay Inside in Todman.

7. Kalidashnikov is coming off back-to-back wins. He knocked off his maiden taking on the older horses at Gosford and then claimed the Black Opal at Canberra.

Extreme Choice colt suffered his first defeat in the Todman last start. He was taken back to last in a small field and found trouble early in his straight. Extreme Choice can settle just off the leaders from barrier 3.

Rocket Tiger was beaten by Kalashnikov and Solar Winds in the Black Opal last start. Rocket Tiger needs to be an out-and-out swimmer to have a chance.

10. O'President has won his maiden at Canterbury by 4L and the G2 Skyline. He has proven himself in the wet.

Capitalist's son, CAPTIVANT, is in the field. He finished third in G2 Skyline. Last prep he came fourth to Sneaky Five in Golden Gift.

Glisten won the G2 Reisling Stakes by a nose. She will be up on the pace but needs to improve to be a winning chance.

The John Sargent-trained filly enters the race as the only runner with an unblemished record. She's also the most lightly-raced along with Glistening and Queen Of Wizardly. Snitzel filli won her debut on the Kenso by 3L and the G2 Sweet Embrace by 0.3L.

14. Swift Witness won the G2 Reisling last start. She had failed as favourite in the Magic Millions at her previous start and the draw is likely to force her back again.

Mallory is off a third to Four Moves Ahead in the G2 Embrace. She got a long way back after jumping from a wide draw.

The Queen of Wizmania won $31 on debut. She finished fourth in the Magic Millions. The wet track is unknown.
