Grand National 2022 prize money: How much will Aintree winning horse earn?
The Grand National will be run for the 174th time today at Aintree Racecourse. The action begins at 1.45 pm and the main event starts at 5.15 pm. Last year's winner Rachael Blackmore is back to defend her crown, riding Minella Times. Snow Leopardess is heavily backed to become the first mare to win the race in more than 50 years. Delta Work, Any Second Now and Eclair Surf are the other contenders with the shortest odds for Grand Nats glory.

The Grand National 2022 prize money is £1m. The winner will get £561,300 and the runner-up £211,100.
