Greg Schiano fires Sean Gleeson, but there’s no quick fix for this Rutgers offense

Greg Schiano fired his offensive coordinator Sean Gleeson. The Scarlet Knights are on a three-game losing streak. Nunzio Campanile will take over as offensive coach.   The team needs to play better complementary football to win games. It's Schianzo's third season back at Rutgers. He has a lot of job security. There's no quick fix for this Rutgers offense.

Sean Gleeson was fired by Rutgers in the middle of the season. The team is 2-2 and has a two-week period before playing Indiana. Greg Schiano wants to change the system and introduce a new system after his return in 2019. There is no clear answer at quarterback. The new coach will probably start over with a different system. He will pay $1.5 million in salary. Rutgers is halfway through Schianzo's third season and still has no clue who will play quarterback next fall. Noah Vedral was the team's best option on Friday night despite the lingering effects of a hand injury. Evan Simon threw three interceptions against one of Big Ten's worst defenses.
