Grizzlies vs Hawks Prediction

The Memphis Grizzlies and the Atlanta Hawks collide at the State Farm Arena on Sunday night.

The Memphis Grizzlies have been in red-hot form as they’ve won eight of their last nine games overall and they will be eager to build on their current five-game win streak after blowing past the Rockets in a 151-114 home win on Friday. Luke Kennard drained a career-high 10 3-pointers to lead the team with 30 points off the bench, Desmond Bane added 25 points while Xavier Tillman and Ja Morant scored 18 points apiece. As a team, the Grizzlies shot a sizzling 61 percent from the field and 25 of 42 from the 3-point line as they completely dominated early on with 83 points in the first half, and they just never took their foot off the gas until the final buzzer.

Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks have been in decent shape as they’ve won five of their last nine games overall and they will be aiming to stay hot after blowing past the Pacers in a 143-130 home win last night. John Collins led the team with 21 points on nine of 12 shooting, Dejounte Murray added 20 points with 12 assists while Saddiq Bey chipped in with 18 points off the bench. As a team, the Hawks shot 55 percent from the field and 15 of 30 from the 3-point line as they struggled to gain any separation early on despite pouring in 72 points in the first half, but they never took their food off the gas and started to pull away late to earn the double-digit victory. Trae Young finished the game with just 14 points in 21 minutes of action before he got ejected for throwing the ball at the referee.

Looking at the betting trends, the Grizzlies are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 road games and 8-22-1 ATS in their last 31 road games against a team with a winning home record. The Hawks are 1-4 ATS in their last five games playing on zero days rest and 1-7 ATS in their last eight Sunday games.

Head to head, the under is 7-2 in the last nine meetings in Atlanta.

The Grizzlies are again missing Steven Adams and Ziaire Williams, while the Hawks are keeping an eye on De’Andre Hunter who is day to day for this one. The Grizzlies are coming into this game with plenty of momentum and their confidence will be sky high after pouring on 151 points in their last win. The Hawks have been in decent form, but they will be playing their second game of a back to back set and they are only 1-4 ATS in their last five games playing on zero days rest. The Grizzlies have been the more consistent team and I think they stay hot with another win here.
