Heisman Trophy odds for 2022: Caleb Williams, Drake Maye top sleeper picks

C.J. Stroud is the Heisman Trophy front-runner. He has the best odds to win the award according to BetMGM. No. 2 Ohio State and No 3 Michigan will meet on Nov. 26. Tennessee's Hendon Hooker struggled in the 27-13 loss to No 1 Georgia in Week 10.

Stroud completed 10 of 26 passes for 76 yards against Northwestern. He has 2,453 passing yards, 67.9%, 29 TDs, 4 INTs. Ohio State plays Indiana in Week 11. The game against Michigan is in two weeks.

Hooker is a finalist for the Heisman Trophy. He will have to play better in the final three games against Missouri, South Carolina and Vanderbilt.

Corrum is tied for the FBS lead in rushing TDs and ranks fourth in yards. He averages 158.7 rushing yards per game in Big Ten play. Michigan's game against Ohio State will determine if he lands in New York.

Caleb Williams has averaged 385.5 passing yards with nine TDs and no interceptions in two games since the loss to Utah. He has a stat-padder against Colorado before those huge games against the Bruins and Irish. If USC wins out and his stats hold, he has the chance to be Lincoln Riley's third Heisman Trophy winner.

Nix has three straight games with at least five TD passes and leads the FBS in that category with 36 total TDs. He has completed 79.3% of his passes in the last three games. Nix is playing at a high level and could lead the Ducks to a Pac-12 championship and CFP berth.

Drake Maye is a sleeper pick for the 2022 Heisman Trophy. He has 2,964 passing yards, 71.2%, 31 TDs, 3 INTs and 386.3 yards of total offense per game. Mayer has three games left on the regular-season schedule.

Bennett is back in the odds after leading the Bulldogs to the 27-13 victory against the Volunteers. He averaged 312.5 passing yards with four TDs and no interception in victories against Oregon and Tennessee. Bennett does not have gaudy statistics, but that big-game mentality could appeal to some voters in SEC country.

Young's odds for the Heisman Trophy did not change after the loss to LSU. He will attend the ceremony. Young will play against Ole Miss this week.

Duggan is the leading passer in the Big 12 and is a strong bet to be a finalist for the award. He has the Horned Frogs in top four of the latest CFP rankings. Duggan will get his biggest stage of regular season in prime time at No. 18 Texas on Saturday.

The Heisman Trophy will be awarded on Dec. 10, one week after the conference championship games. The ceremony will air on ESPN at 8 p.m.
