Heisman Trophy update: Caleb Williams now virtual lock heading into championship week
The odds in the Heisman Trophy race are shifting again. Caleb Williams is the favorite. There is one week left of the college football regular season. The odds shift in one or two weeks, so it's always a good idea to keep an eye on the shifts in lines to see if it indicates value changes.
Caleb Williams is the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy. C.J. Stroud is in second place after a disappointing performance against Michigan. Texas quarterback Max Duggan is a contender. Michigan running back Blake Corum is no longer a candidate. He suffered a knee injury against Illinois and couldn't play against Ohio State. He was running for the final three spots. Bryce Young and Hendon Hooker are also potential candidates. They were injured. The winner will be announced on December 15th. It's a long shot. There are currently +2000 odds for Stoud. Williams was +100 last week and +600 over the summer.
