UCLA and NC State haven't played each other on the football field since 1960. This year's Holiday Bowl will be played at the MLB Padres’ Petco Park. It will also be the first postseason experience for almost the entire UCLA team. The last time the teams met on football was in 1960 at L.A. Coliseum. Chip Kelly's team won 7-0. NC St. won the ACC this season. The team's one defeat was to Mississippi State. They outscored their opponents 138-47 in the last ten quarters. Their defense was the best of the Kelly era. Devin Leary and Bam Knight are the main threats for the Pack.
