Saint Roi came from last to first in a Novice Chase at Leopardstown. Visionarian was the 25-1 outsider. He made a couple of jumping mistakes late in back straight. Willie Mullins and Mark Walsh waited for Saintroi to challenge for the lead. They won the race.

Constitution Hill won the Christmas Hurdle under Nico de Boinville for Nicky Henderson. Epatante came second.

Paisley Park won the Long Walk Hurdle at Kempton on St Stephen's Day. Goshen came second, Champ third and Champ 7/4 f.
