Habenero Star loves it round here and, having raced here three times, he has two places and a win on his record. All five of his career wins have come in this grade and conditions are absolutely ideal. Billy Loughnane has been booked for the ride which is a statement in itself and it’s very difficult to oppose this one running well.

Water Of Leith looks to have found a perfect opportunity here. Any rain would of scuppered any chances but there is none forecast so he gets his preferred conditions today. Back to 6f today, which has seen his best performances, and still on his last winning mark, he drops in class too and has been running with plenty of credit recently. He’s a winner in waiting.

Aconcagua Mountain was rattling in the wins before flying up the handicaps until recently struggling off a 19lb higher mark. He has since been dropping and shown sings last time out when 4th of 59, down another 2lbs here and William Pyles 7lb claim could come in very handy. Wide open handicap here and he should have a great chance.
