Horse racing tips: Best bets for Kembla Grange with Matt Jones

Daily Telegraph form analyst Matt Jones gives his best bets and runs the rule over every race for Kembla Grange.

Black Iris finished second on debut at Hawkesbury. Rachel King will be riding her in Race 4, No.7.

Principesa caught the eye at her Australian debut in town last start behind a progressive horse.

John is the best bet for Race 3, No.7 at Kembla Grange with Matt Jones.

Kerry Parker is a local trainer. He has placed Jessandi and Sherwood’s One well in the third and sixth races.

Tommy Berry will be disappointed if Satness, Extreme Freedom and Yumi don't run competitive races.

Satness is back to his home track and is knocking on the door after placing in his past three runs. Mehajir put the writing on. the wall two runs back in a decent provincial race and came out and won over 1500m last start.

Locally-trained horse Extreme Freedom will have an easier task here. Credit Crunch is racing for a stable that's already having a good week. Casual Connection probably gets back on the fence here and will need to dodge past some slow ones.

Awesome John will win the race at Kembla Grange. Long Tycoon will sit on the speed and probably lead. Jessandi is back to her home track and bred to do it in wet ground. Tradition will improve off a fresh run and barrier trial. Wolves has been to a Stakes race and she's been unlucky here first-up.

Black Iris had a bad draw on debut at Hawkesbury and she had to work early. Secaution got crowded for room on her debut and is placed well here. On The Beach has drawn the carpark but has the speed to come across and sit outside the leader or even lead.

Principessa is trying to win for the first time at start nine. Argentina went well enough in two city races before going for a spell. Definitely Maybe looks to have returned a better horse after showing promise at her first preparation with a couple of placings.

Russbuss had to cover more ground than Ten Bells when running second to it at Canterbury last start. California Surreal is an improver second-up after making a long, wide run first-time in town. Sherwood’s One got caught three-deep with no cover last time but has an inside gate now.

Kayobi hasn't run worse than second in four runs to date. River Mac ticks all the boxes for this race. Lohnraki will love wet ground. Man Of Reign smashed them on a heavy track last start.

Phearson is consistent and won last start at Hawkesbury. Excelladus trialled up well and is ready to record his second first-up win. Persevere might have just been flat second-time after a slashing fresh win at his previous start.
