Horse racing tips: Best bets for Gosford with Matt Jones

Daily Telegraph form analyst Matt Jones gives his best bets and runs the rule over every race for Gosford.

Glacier Queen is a consistent type with a lot of good form around her. She's trialled comfortably and should produce a big run fresh.

OAKFIELD PAPERBACK is in the No.9 race at the track and distance.

Amor Victorious makes his debut in Race 6, No.1. Matt Jones likes his chances.

Tom Sherry has a good book with Oakfield Paperback, Fast Response and Lovero looking well placed.

Joe Pride has a good team entered with My Eloise a chance in the second. Smooth Flight and Beirut Miss take each other on in fourth and Slipstreaming is on debut in sixth.

Monastery will not run in the race, but his stablemate Chappelli will. Youthful ran in a good form race last start and she will look to have the last crack at them. Savanaci ground away to win over a mile last time and extra distance won't hurt her.

Shadow Legend ran third at Hawkesbury behind a horse that came out and won in town at its next start. Lucky Variety came from well back to win at Gosford last start off a break.

Shaka Rock was beaten last start by a horse who almost won the Four Pillars. Lady Superspy ran eighth of nine first-up over 1300m. Noble Cause shoots for three straight victories.

Mr Wallace is the favourite for the race. Ovoid is liking his new stable. Smooth Flight will be better suited in this race from an on-speed spot.

Glacier Queen is consistent and well placed at the provincials. Quilting is an undefeated horse. Lovero beat Mr Wallace in the previous race.

Amor Victorious looks talented and won his last trial. Country Blues won a winning barrier trial and should start favourite. Fast Response went too hard early on debut and if he can find the back of one, he'll race better. Arch Of Titus ran in town at his first prep and is well placed at this track as an on-speed type.

Oakfield Paperback looked good late first-up at Gosford. Kissing Supido is also well placed and has had three trials. Overriding is in the market but had to be pushed out to win a trial. Always In was comfortable in a barrier trial on this track.

Change Is Coming bolted in a barrier trial by 10 lengths. Inequality got run down by an above average type at Hawkesbury last start. Just In Reach has two wins from his past two starts and will be positive.
