CRAMBO (3.10, nap) is fancied to make a winning return to the fray by beating seven opponents for the Jewson Handicap Hurdle at Aintree on Sunday.
Fergal O’Brien’s son of Saddler Maker scored three times in his first campaign over timber last season, only being beaten in Group One company by Irish Point in Liverpool.
He seemingly has the potential to go past his current British Horseracing Authority mark of 133.
Earlier in the Jewson Fast Set Finish Old Roan Limited Handicap Chase, HITMAN (2.00, nb) is taken to get back to winning ways.
The Paul Nicholls-trained seven year old was competing at the highest level last season including in the King George at Kempton where he reportedly bled and with a fine third in the Ryanair Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.
Despite carrying top weight and facing some useful opposition, this looks an ideal contest to underline his undoubted class
