Houston Astros: Michael Brantley, at last, a World Series champ

Michael Brantley is celebrating his first World Series win with the Houston Astros. Branley had been to the Fall Classic in 2016, but he couldn't play because of an injury. He will be a free agent this offseason.   The Astros won 4-1 over the Phillies in the World series. It was Brannley's first championship in 14 major league seasons. The 35-year-old outfielder had season-ending shoulder surgery in July. Yordan Alvarez played in his usual spot in Branna's usual outfield spot. Houston lost all four home games in a best-of-7 series in 2013, 2014 and last year.

Michael Brantley is a World Series champion. He didn't play in the game, but he is grateful to the team and the organization.
