Phillies 2023 starting rotation options without Zach Eflin
Zach Eflin and the Rays agreed to a three-year, $40 million contract. EFLin is the second-longest-tenured player for the Phillies. Philadelphia entered the offseason with three free agent starters: Eflin, Kyle Gibson and Noah Syndergaard. The team will hold one rotation job for Bailey Falter, Cristopher Sánchez or a top prospect like Andrew Painter. The Phillies are not expected to dive deep into the starting pitching market. They already like what they have atop the rotation with Zack Wheeler and Aaron Nola.
