How Aaron Judge is keeping his cool as he chases Roger Maris

Yankees beat Red Sox 2-0 on Sunday night. Aaron Judge is one swing away from tying Roger Maris’ team and league record.

Yankees completed a four-game sweep of Boston. They are now heading to Toronto. Yankees' best player, Aaron Judge, has not hit a homer in five games. He is 4-for-15 with three doubles and six walks for a .476 on-base percentage. His double down the third-baseman line to open the Yankees’ bottom of the first Sunday qualified as a disappointment. On Sunday, he finished 1- for-2 with a walk. He was booed by the fans. The Post's Jon Heyman argued that he is pressing. In his first 143 games this season, Judge saw 1,411 pitches that were outside the strike zone.

The Dolphins beat the Bills 3-0 yesterday. Tua Tagovailoa was cleared of a head injury. Mac Jones injured himself against the Ravens. Jalen Hurts threw for 340 yards as the Eagles dominated the Commanders. Colts used a 16-play drive in the closing minutes to stun the Chiefs. Jets lost 27-12 to the Bengals. Joe Flacco was sacked four times. Zach Wilson is expected to start for the Jets next week against Pittsburgh.   The Jets' season finally gets started in Pittsburgh next Sunday.

Mets are 1 ½ games ahead of the Braves. The Braves and Mets are playing a three-game series in Atlanta next weekend. Braves starter Spencer Strider is injured and won't play in the postseason. Dustin May is also injured. May had pitched 30 innings in six starts since returning from Tommy John surgery. Starling Marte's finger is getting better.  The Mets, with Max Scherzer and Jacob deGrom at the top of their rotation, are getting healthy at a good time.
