How Rutgers’ Temple transfers are treating their return to Philadelphia

Rutgers is preparing for a game against Temple. There are four former Temple players on the Rutgers roster. Greg Schiano wants to calm his players down.   The team plays in the same stadium as Temple's. The Scarlet Knights won the season opener against Boston College. They are 2-0. It's the second time in three weeks that they have played an opponent with a previous connection to the team.

Maijeh enjoyed a successful start to his career at Temple. Ryan spent his freshman season at the Owls before transferring to West Virginia. Stan Drayton has 22 N.J. natives on his roster. Rutgers has plenty of motivation heading into the contest. A win would put them at 3-0 ahead of a prime-time matchup against Iowa at SHI Stadium. The game will open Big Ten play. It will be played at Lincoln Financial Field. There will also be a large contingent of fans. They will come from Philadelphia. A lot of players from Temple wanted to come to Rutgers, but they didn't.
