There will be eight live betting windows at Encore Boston Harbor, eight at MGM Springfield, and eventually six at Plainridge Park Casino but five at first.
This process helps avoid technology if it isn’t your method of wagering, but it does require prior homework before arrival.
Here is the process.
- Do your research. Live tellers cannot provide you with in-depth betting options at the window. It is advised to look at the odds online on your mobile device or laptop. There will be betting display screens available in the sportsbook areas of the casino with moneyline, spread, and point total information. However, you shouldn’t expect to see all bet options available.
- Write down your desired bet. Whether it’s a simple moneyline bet or a three-leg parlay, be sure to write your bet down. Writing down your wager and bringing it with you ensures you don’t forget it and helps avoid slowing down the live teller. It also allows you to verify the odds you researched are still current.
- Place your wager in person. Once you have all the required information to place your bet, visit the sportsbook nearest to you and head to a live teller. Afterward, the only thing to do is watch the game and hope your bet pays off.

All Massachusetts casinos will have on-site sports betting kiosks. There will be 118 at Encore Boston Harbor, 18 at MGM Springfield, and eventually 20 at Plainridge Park Casino but 18 at first.
