How to bet Sunday Night Baseball between San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals

ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball stays in the National League for the four straight week with perennial contenders as the St. Louis Cardinals host the San Francisco Giants.

Well, at least the Giants are bi-annual contenders as the ESPN promos for the game stress that they won the World Series in 2010, 2012 and 2014 and they're in first place in the National League West as we head for the summer months.

The Cardinals are in third place in the NL Central, 11 games behind the Chicago Cubs, but they're just 1.5 games out of the second wild-card spot.

This is the rubber game of a three-game weekend series as the Giants won 5-1 on Friday night but the Cardinals bounced back with a 7-4 victory on Saturday. The Cardinals, with Carlos Martinez slated to start, opened around a -130 home favorite in the Sunday nighter, but it was bet up to -145 on Sunday morning before settling at -144. The over/under opened at 8.5 with the under favored but has been bet down to 8 at most books, including the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook.

Here at ESPN Chalk, we try to end your baseball betting week on a winning note as we break down the Sunday night game.
