Kevin Pillar hit a pinch-hit two-run home run in the eighth inning on Saturday to bring the Braves from behind in a 5-4 victory.
Baltimore will return home for a 10-game homestand after today’s game, including a three-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays, who own baseball’s best record, and the Pittsburgh Pirates, who are off to a similarly fast start in the NL Central.
As for the Braves, they are off tomorrow, then welcome the red-hot Boston Red Sox, who have won eight straight entering their game today in Philly.
