How to Watch Georgia vs. Tennessee

KNOXVILLE, TN -- One of college football’s oldest rivalries is renewed on Saturday, as the two-time defending national champion Georgia Bulldogs take on the Tennessee Volunteers.

#1 Georgia Bulldogs (10-0, 7-0 SEC) vs. #18 Tennessee Volunteers (7-3, 3-3 SEC)

  • When: Saturday, November 18
  • Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
  • Where: Neyland Stadium (Knoxville, Tenn.)
  • Channel: CBS
  • Stream:FuboTV (Free Trial), Sling, DirecTV Stream

The Bulldogs, after a couple of interesting finishes, put the boots to Ole Miss in a marquee matchup last week. Their 52-17 thrashing of the Rebels helped secure another SEC East title, setting up a matchup with Alabama, again, for the SEC Championship.

Georgia had some early-season issues they had to overcome, but Carson Beck and company straightened things out as they continued their title defense. Beck threw for over 300 yards last Saturday, while Kendall Milton rushed for 127 yards, helping the Dawgs go on to win their 27th consecutive game, and a 37th straight regular-season win.

The only true team that can put Georgia’s hopes of a return to the College Football Playoffs in jeopardy is Tennessee.

That said, the Volunteers come into Saturday beaten down, having been annihilated by Missouri last Saturday, 36-7. That makes it two losses in three conference games for Tennessee, including a tough loss to the Crimson Tide late last month. With two games left in the regular season, the best the Vols can finish is second in the East, with Missouri needing to lose one of its two games.

Since their first meeting in 1899, the Vols and Dawgs have met 52 times, with Georgia leading, 27-23-2. The Bulldogs have beaten the Volunteers in six straight matchups, with Tennessee’s last victory in the series coming in 2016.

While Tennessee is a huge underdog coming into this matchup, this is college football. So do not expect Georgia to take it easy in Knoxville.
