How to watch Louisville vs. Duke football: Odds, Jeff Brohm team info

Louisville's aggressive defense has been key in the No. 18 Cardinals' success this season.

The unit has made timely stops and is tied with Arizona (39th nationally) in points allowed (20.6). U of L ranks fourth in red zone defense. The Cardinals have been particularly strong against the run, holding opposing offenses to 97.1 yards per game, 14th fewest in the country.

Being overly aggressive sometimes has resulted in big plays for Louisville's opponents. The Cardinals will look to balance aggression and efficiency against No. 21 Duke at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at L&N Stadium.

"We've just got to make sure that we continue to know the right combination of being aggressive and yet safe," Louisville coach Jeff Brohm said. "You look at the Notre Dame game, we were aggressive on defense, but we were efficient. ... In football, you gotta win the small details. The turnover battle, third-down conversions and giving up big plays is some of the things we need to get better at."

Here's what you need to know ahead of Louisville's ACC game against Duke:
