How to watch the 2022 College Football Playoff
The 2022 College Football Playoff field is set and ready to kick off on New Years Eve. The nation's top four teams will clash to decide who is crowned National Champions of the 2022 college football season.
There are four teams in the College Football Playoff. They are No. 1 Georgia, No.: 2 Michigan, no. 3 TCU, and no No: 4 Ohio State. TCU will play Michigan in Fiesta Bowl, while Ohio will take on Georgia in Peach Bowl.
The Fiesta Bowl is Saturday, Dec. 31 at 4 p.m. on ESPN. The Peach Bowl kicks off at 8 p.,m., on the same channel. Both games can be streamed onESPN app. There will be multiple broadcasts offered by ESPN, including ESPN2, ESPNU, Command Center, SEC Network, Spanish language broadcast, All-22 angle, TCU Hometown Radio, Michigan Hometravery Radio and Ohio State Houstraversary Radio.
The Fiesta Bowl will be the first time the TCU Horned Frogs and Michigan Wolverines have met. TCU's offense ranks No. 6 in the NCAA scoring 40.3 points per game. Michigan's defense is No 57 in NCAA allowing 25 points a game, but they have a stout defense, allowing only 13.38 points.
Michigan is a -300 favorite to win the Fiesta Bowl. TCU is -240 underdog. The spread is currently set at 7.5 points in Michigan’s favor.
The Peach Bowl will be the second ever meeting between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Georgia Bulldogs. They last played in the 1993 Citrus Bowl on New Years Day when Georgia won 21-14. Georgia is the defending CFB champions, defeating Alabama in 2021 CFb championship game. Ohio won the inaugural College Football Playoff in 2015.
Georgia is a -275 favorite to win the Peach Bowl. Ohio State is an underdog. The spread is set at 6.5 points in Georgia’s favor.
The 2022 College Football Playoff will be played on January 9, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. It will air on ESPN.
