The main event for the night’s action is an important heavyweight showdown between two top-10 contenders, Tom Aspinall and Marcin Tybura.

Aspinall is returning to action almost one year to the day that he suffered a knee injury that halted his rise up the heavyweight ladder.

The English fighter had reeled off a bunch of quick stoppage wins since signing with the UFC in 2020, and appeared to be closing in on a heavyweight title fight when he tapped out Alexander Volkov in the first round for his fifth consecutive win inside the Octagon.

However, his climb up the rankings was brought to a shuddering halt on July 23 of last year, when he suffered a knee injury just seconds into his fight with fellow contender Curtis Blaydes, resulting in a TKO loss.

Aspinall will be keen to make up for lost time in London, but standing in his way is Tybura – a veteran of the UFC heavyweight division who has won seven of his last eight fights to climb into the top 10.
