Humor Me laughs all the way to win circle

Humor Me won the $4,600 featured Fillies and Mares conditioned pace at First Tracks Cumberland. Rojas Blue Chip was the favorite. Millwood Faith N finished second. Virtual Success came from third to finish third. The 7-year-old mare is owned by Peter Haskell and was in for a $5,800 claiming tag.

Dakota 'Action' Jackson's horse won a $4,000 conditioned pace. It was the first local victory in four seasonal starts for the Michigan native.

Valuable IVy is the featured trotting event on Saturday's card. Captain Nash, Ry’s Red Rocket, Matty “Ice” Athearn and Rocksapatriot are the other pacers competing. The Au Revior Retirement Showcase is open to 14-year-old horses that are racing or retired and have Maine connections. First Tracks Cumberland and the Maine Harness Horsemen's Association are collecting nonperishable food items in the race paddock during the next two weekends of racing.
