I'm Thunderstruck ready to rumble in Champions Stakes

I'm Thunderstruck will try to register a first against Anamoe at Flemington on Saturday. Anamioe holds a 2-0 lead over I'mThunderstrucks in the Group 1 Champions Stakes (2000m) on two previous occasions.

I'm Thunderstruck will run in the Champions Mile on Saturday. He finished second behind Anamoe in Cox Plate at Moonee Valley last month. The trainer had considered running him in a 1600m race, but changed his mind. I'mThunderstrucks has had five runs for the campaign already and is in good form. He has run 1800 metres, 2000 metres and another 2000 meters.
