In Big Ten West that Minnesota's a near-lock to win, Nebraska's a wild card
The Big Ten revs up its conference games for real this week. Nebraska hosts Indiana, Iowa hosts Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin tangle in Bret Bowl II. Minnesota is fresh off a 34-7 rout of Michigan State and is new to this weeks’ Associated Press Top 25 poll.
Minnesota is the favorite in Big Ten West. Nebraska is a wild card. Only four teams remain undefeated in the league. Big 10 defenses are good. The conference offenses are diverging. The league has seven teams that rank in top 30 of net punting yards. It has 7 teams in Top 30 net Punting Yards. Illinois is one of them. Iowa's Tory Taylor is also in this top 20. Penn State's schedule is tough. They play at Michigan on October 15 and vs. Minnesota on Oct. 22. Then they play against Ohio State on November 29.
