Presenting the Big Ten football spreads for week 13

There are two games in the final week of Big Ten football. Ohio State and Michigan will play for the Big League East title. Iowa and Purdue are tied for first at 5-3 in conference play. Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin are one game behind at 4-4.

Nebraska can only play spoiler to Iowa's Big Ten title hopes. Iowa has won seven straight games against Nebraska. The Hawkeyes have the tiebreaker by virtue of beating Purdue 24-3 on Nov. 5.

Maryland is a two-touchdown favorite against Rutgers. The Terps are coming off a three-game losing streak. Rutgers is coming from four straight losses and seven of its last eight.

The game between Michigan and Ohio State is for all the marbles in the Big Ten East. Michigan leads the all-time series 59-51-6. USC quarterback Caleb Williams has closed the gap on C.J. Stroud in Heisman race.

Illinois lost to Michigan last Saturday. The team will finish with their most regular-season wins since 2007. Illinois beat Northwestern last season, but the team had lost the previous six games in the rivalry. Northwestern has lost 10 straight games since beating Nebraska in week zero.

The Golden Gophers and the Badgers have split the last four showdowns for Paul Bunyan's Axe. Wisconsin holds the slightest 62-61-8 advantage over Minnesota in the all-time series. Minnesota lost to both Purdue and Iowa and cannot represent the Big Ten West in conference title game.

Purdue needs to win the Big Ten West and represent the division in the championship game to be able to play in a Big 10 championship. Indiana has had a tough go this season, but it won't be easy on Purdue.

Penn State is a significant favorite over Michigan State. The game is played at Beaver Stadium. Penn State can reach a landmark with 10 wins on the season.
