Indian Tennis: Sasikumar Mukund
Sasikumar Mukund has become India's new No 1 men's singles tennis player. Mukund won his first title in five years at a Futures event in Sintra, Portugal in September. He is aware that Ramkumar Ramanathan and Prajnesh Gunneswaran fell down the rankings. It's the first time since 2005 that India does not have a men’s singles player inside the top 300 world rankings, as per the live ATP rankings and the ATP World Tour Rankings. . The 25-year-old had a nerve-wracking first half of the year.
