Yuki Bhambri quits singles, targets doubles Grand Slam success
Yuki Bhambri is the second big Indian tennis player to quit the singles format to focus on the doubles. Bhambri won the junior singles title at the Australian Open in 2009 and became the world No. 1 in 2010. He won seven singles Challenger titles with Saketh Myneni. Bhambri has no regrets about his singles career. The 28-year-old is already inside the top-100 and is targeting to be in the Top-50 bracket soon. His career was delayed due to injuries and sponsorship issues.
