International Stallion Stakes Saturday

We have some great Grand Circuit harness racing in store at The Red Mile today, and some great betting opportunities with several low takeout multi-race bets on the wagering menu.

Here is my full analysis of this 13-race card and some multi-race tickets to consider. Good Luck with your plays.

Best Bet – SOIREE HANOVER – Race 8

Spot Play – LILMSLANDSHARK – Race 2

15% Takeout 20-Cent Pick 6 – Race 1 – 3468/139/28/7/6910/16 = $28.80

12% Takeout 50-Cent Pick 5 – Race 3 – 28/7/6910/16/567 = $18

12% Takeout 50-Cent Pick 4 – Race 6 – 16/567/36/3 = $6

12% Takeout 50-Cent Pick 4 – Race 10 – 457/7/1238/36 = $12

Race 1 – 4-3-6-8

(4) DRAW THE LINE just jogged over this Red Mile surface to take a new life’s mark and she is the one to beat here kicking off a great Grand Circuit card.

Race 2 – 3-9-5-1

(3) LILMSLANDSHARK gets a key driver change to Miller here and she could offer some value here at 10 to 1 in the morning line.

Race 3 – 2-8-3-1

(2) BUY A ROUND comes off a dominant first-over win against some of these and she should be tough as she seeks a repeat.

Race 4 – 7-8-2-6

(7) CAPTAIN ALBANO just knocked off previously unbeaten Newsroom and paced sub-1:50 while doing it and he should be very tough in here.

Race 5 – 10-9-6-2

(10) UNICORN BLUE CHIP raced well from an outside post now she draws widest which should ensure she offers a good price. I’ll side with her in a wide-open race.

Race 6 – 6-1-2-3

(6) CAPTAIN LUKE raced decently in the Metro elimination and final and he will break his maiden before this season ends. This might be the spot right here as second choice to (1) NEWSROOM who had took his first loss here in his most recent start in a good effort in defeat.

Race 7 – 7-6-5-3

(7) IF THE SHOE FITS added Lasix and just missed at this level in her most recent start and that stamps her as the one to beat in this spot.

Race 8 – 3-6-5-1

(3) BETTER IS NICE is six for eight including four wins in five starts at this track and he should be tough to beat in this spot.

Race 9 – 3-5-2-6

(3) SOIREE HANOVER was iron tough racing first up while winning the Doherty which followed up a stellar effort in the New Jersey Classic final. She has the ability to make her own trip and she gets top billing here.

Race 10 – 5-4-7-3

Lightly raced (5) MAGNIFICO HANOVER has done nothing wrong in his four-race career and he stacks up well in this field; top call.

Race 11 – 7-6-4-2

(7) WINNERS BET was out the mile but on cover in the Canadian Trotting Classic and he just couldn’t catch a sharp Celebrity Bambino. This is the easiest spot for him in several starts; no excuse here.

Race 12 – 1-2-3-8

(1) R MELINA should work out another great trip here leaving from the rail; call to repeat.

Race 13 – 3-6-7-4

(3) MG’S SUMMER ANGEL gets Dunn here after setting swift early pace then sticking around for a share. I’ll give her a slight nod in a race with no standout.
