Is Flightline the Greatest Thoroughbred Since Secretariat?

Flightline is undefeated in his five races. His most recent race in the Pacific Classic at Del Mar was one for the ages. Flightline will take on seven horses in Breeders’ Cup Classic on Saturday at 5:40 p.m. at Keeneland in Kentucky. Life is Good has won nine of his 11 races, Olympiad is six for his last seven, and Rich Strike and Epicenter are 3-year-old challengers.  

Flightline is a talented Thoroughbred colt. He won a sprint race at Santa Anita in April 2021. The colter was injured in a stall accident. His owners are considering retiring him and running him next year as a 5-year-old. He is the son of Tapit. Flightline's trainer, April Mayberry, has trained many horses before. She called Sadler early in Flightlines training to tell him he had a special one coming. It was only the second time she called a horse trainer before it reached the racetrack. Secretariat won the Belmont Stakes in 1973.
