It's Fergie time: rising trainer Ferguson on the mark with first Group victory

James Ferguson saddled his first Pattern success with Mise En Scene. Frankie Dettori gave him a slap during his ITV interview. Ferguson completed a maiden double in the 1m6f handicap with Snowalot. He trains a string of around 40 horses at his Newmarket base. He is the son of bloodstock ace John. The filly won at Haydock in July.

Clive Cox's horse Aratus won the 7f handicap at Goodwood. Aratu has won four of his five starts. Cox also won Listed Beverley Bullet with Tis Marvellous in East Yorkshire. General Lee beat Sky Power in the 1m 1f 1F handicaps at the Goodwoods.

Ferguson has won his first Group race. General Lee won the 1m1f handicap. Paul Cole was frustrated with Duke Of Hazzard's seventh place in Celebration Mile.

Dancing King won the 1m6f Group 3 March Stakes at Goodwood. He is in a sale around that time and has Paddy Power's odds of 16-1 for the Cesarewitch.
