D. Wayne Lukas will run Secret Oath in the Grade 1 Arkansas Derby on April 2 at Oaklawn Park. Secret oath has already qualified for the Kentucky Oaks on May 6. She won the Martha Washington and Grade 3 Honeybee Stakes. Luka will put her in this weekend's Kentucky Oakes Future Wager pool.

Lukas will run Secret Oath in the Arkansas Derby. He doesn't want to run in a 20-horse field in Derby, because he's got the Oaks.

Lukas won the 1984 Arkansas Derby with Althea and the 1988 Kentucky Derby. Lukas’ Lady Secret won Grade 1 Whitney at Saratoga in 1986. Serena”s Song finished 16 in the 1995 Derby and went on to win the Haskell two months later at Monmouth Park. Secret Oath won her debut in a December allowance by 8 lengths. Un Ojo won a Grade 2 Rebel Stakes in February.

Lukas will run Secret Oath in the Arkansas Derby. Lukas' other Derby hope, Rebel Stakes runner-up Ethereal Road, will now detour to the Grade 1 Blue Grass Stake at Keeneland.
