Jack Christopher Back To His Best In H. Allen Jerkens Memorial

Jack Christopher won the H. Allen Jerkens Memorial Stakes (G1) at Saratoga. It was his third win at the elite level. He was riding by Jose Ortiz. Gunite finished second, Runninsonofagun third and Conagher fourth. Jack Christopher has lifetime earnings of $1,216,400. He is out of the Half Ours mare Rushin No Blushin.

Chad Brown is proud of his horses Jack Christopher and Accretive. They won the Haskell. Jose Ortiz rode a fantastic race on Jack. The horse can run either way. Chad Brown hasn't thought about a possible next start.   He wants to see if Jack can get back into winning form and then take it from there.

Jim Bakke is the co-owner of Jack Christopher, who won the H. Allen Jerkens Memorial at Saratoga. Bakk has been in the racing for 25 years and never had a Grade 1 winner.

Jose Ortiz won the race on Jack Christopher. Jack had a four-week rest. Jose Ortiz would rather go a mile but seven-eighths is tricky. Jack ran well. He was offbeat down the backside but picked up little by little.
