Jeff Probyn: Go for it girls...just don’t ask my daughter to play!
The Women's Rugby World Cup is taking place. 12 countries are taking part. The tournament started in 1987 and is in its seventh incarnation. It attracted 13,253 spectators and a half million TV viewers in 2010. In 1994, after an appearance on BBC Rugby Special, Wasps had played Bath and Norm Hadley, the Canadian second row, and were asked for their opinion on the game. Norm had a stamp on her head and her ear became infected. John Inverdale cut to England women verses Holland. He said he wouldn't want his daughter to play rugby. He also said that he didn't like the idea of his girlfriend looking like Jeff Probyn.
