Joc Pederson on out-of-the-hunt September: ‘Not fun’

Joc Pederson is disappointed with the way the season has gone for the Giants. He's not playing meaningful baseball for first time in his nine-year career. The Giants are 7.5 games out of a wild card spot. Farhan Zaidi is interested in keeping Pedersen as a free agent.  The Giants won 5-2 on Tuesday.

Joc Pederson is considering a return to the Giants. The team won 107 games last year, but Pedersen thinks it was a fluke year. He has played for four different organizations. The Giants would need to finish the season at least 5-3 for a .500 or better record. They would also need a playoff berth.
