Toskana Belle is a German filly who won the German Oaks on August 7 at Dusseldorf. She will make her North American debut in Saturday's Jockey Club Oaks at the Belmont at Big A fall meet. Toskanna Belle was bred in France and campaigned in Germany by trainer Andreas Wohler. Luke Merrell, Director of Australian Bloodstock, has won two previous German Ocups with Turfdonna and Salomina. Merrel wants to make the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf on November 5 at Keeneland with Tosana.
