Toskana Belle is a chestnut filly bred in France and campaigned in Germany. She won the German Oaks on August 7 at Dusseldorf. Luke Murrell, Director of Australian Bloodstock, has won two previous German Oaks with Turfdonna and Salomina. Murrel wants to make the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf on November 5 at Keeneland. The German breeding program has produced American Grade. 1-winners A Raving Beauty and First Lady. It also produced world champion after world Champion.
