King Cause upsets Knickerbocker for 1st graded stakes win
King Cause won the Grade 3 Knickerbocker at Aqueduct by two lengths. It was the 7-year-old son of Creative Cause's third win this year. The horse was ridden by Kendrick Carmouche. Pixelate finished second, Safe Conduct third and Field Pass fourth. Lonesome Fugitive, Eons, Pao Alto, Dynadrive and L’Imperator rounded out the order of finish. King Cause is an eight-time winner from 33 starts. He had previously contested seven graded events but failed to hit the board. His best finish was a fourth in the 2018 Los Alamitos Derby (G3).
