'We Thought He Had A Good Shot': King Cause Cruises Wire To Wire In Knickerbocker

King Cause won the Knickerbocker at the Belmont at Big A fall meet. The 7-year-old son of Creative Cause was 14-1 favorite. He was ridden by Kendrick Carmouche. King Cause is the third win this year. Pixelate finished second. Field Pass finished fourth. Public Sector, Lonesome Fugitive, Eons, Pao Alto, Dynadrive and L'Imperator rounded out the order of finish. Steve Spielman of Nice Guys Stables said he believed in his horse. His horse almost died after a win at Saratoga in August of 2020.
