Kathleen O. is a dual graded stakes winner and a Kentucky Oaks alumna. She is the daughter of third crop sire Upstart. The filly has not raced since finishing fifth in the Kentucky Oaks. Javier Castellano will drive her in Friday's Grade 3, $175,000 Comely at Aqueduct Racetrack. She was bought for $275,00. Her trainer Shug McGaughey is planning to keep going through the winter with her. He mentioned the Grade. 3 Royal Delta on February 18 at Gulfstream Park as a possible target for her 4-year-old season.
